just after having cut them
turned up and before bleaching & fraying (I don't normally take pictures of my behind hehe)
The final result :-)
Yesterday I decided to unleash the DIY diva in me. After having worked at the market with my neighbour, he said I could take any piece of clothing I wanted. I took a few shirts for my Dad, but most importantly a pair of Levi's jeans. If you know me you know that the only jeans I wear are skinny, and these were bootcut. So, I decided to make my very own pair of levi's cut off, a true essential in anyone's wardrobe in my opinion. I started by cutting the legs off to the length that I wanted (even if it's too long, you can always roll them up). Then, I tried them on to see if it was right, and as you can see, they look quite alright rolled up. But I wanted a "distressed look" , so next I frayed the edges with a pair of scissors. Then, I filled a big bowl with warm water and a cap full of bleach, and put the shorts in. You can leave them in as long as you want, but I left them for about 40mins to 1 hour, & this is how they turned out, I think they look pretty good.
